The rivalry game everyone has circled on the Pac-12 calendar next season, Oregon will travel to Washington for a huge matchup that should have taken place a year ago, but was canceled due to COVID-19 running rampant. The Huskies technically won the Pac-12 North, but the Ducks assumed their spot in the title game because of the outbreak.

Washington hasn’t forgotten that it had to surrender its spot in the Pac-12 title game and they’re going to come out motivated here despite not having quite as much talent.

I expect this one to go down to the wire with Peyton Henry hitting the game-winning field goal with no time left to essentially crush playoff hopes — for now.

Final Score: Oregon 30, Washington 33 (7-2, 5-1)

Nick Rolovich has been making headlines this offseason and that may have been a bit of a distraction for his players who just want to play the game. I don’t see the Cougars being much of a factor in the Pac-12 title race.

The Cougars were just 1-3 in Rolovich’s first season and while they do return 15 starters, they finished 111th in total defense and 75th in offense last year. I don’t expect a ton of improvement.

Washington State is far from the Mike Leach days.

Final Score: Washington State 17, Oregon 41 (8-2, 6-1)
