Oregon Football: 5 bold predictions for the 2021 season

1. Oregon wins a third straight Pac-12 title, makes playoff

Oregon is fresh off back-to-back Pac-12 titles and while last season’s might come with an asterisk because of the COVID-19 impact on Washington, it still counts.

Now the Ducks are looking to win three in a row and that impressive feat won’t be easy with teams like Utah, Washington, USC, Arizona State, and UCLA all pushing for the crown. But Oregon has more talent than the aforementioned teams along with experience and a solid coaching staff that has won two straight so it knows how to replicate that.

The Ducks will have a 1,500-yard rusher, the best quarterback starting, and the best defense in the Pac-12 this season which will be enough to potentially run the table and win another conference title, a third straight.

I’m going to predict a third consecutive Pac-12 title after the Ducks beat USC in the conference title game again and they’ll be undefeated in conference play, making the College Football Playoff.

This is going to be a memorable year for the Ducks.
