Oregon football’s jerseys for the Ohio State game are beautiful (Photo)
Oregon football — or ‘Nike U’ — has been known to run out a different uniform combination every game and usually they come with mixed reviews.
The jerseys for the Ohio State game are an exception.
The Ducks released their fresh look for the huge Ohio State game on Saturday afternoon and you’d probably be hard-pressed to find fans who don’t like the new look.
Heck, casual college football fans who don’t even usually like Oregon’s weekly flash are big fans of the Ducks’ look.
Take a look for yourself:
I might be in the minority, but I enjoy Oregon’s uniforms pretty much every week and the yellow and green combo from the opener was a unique look and I was a big fan. I actually have liked just about every one of the Oregon uniforms since those awful dark green, black, and yellow jerseys from the Dennis Dixon era.
But this white North Texas-esque look for the Ohio State game are just so clean. The tint of that green on the crisp white helmet and the jersey just looks so good.
What do you think of the look?
Oregon football trying to stun the nation
Beating Ohio State would be one of the most shocking results in Week 2 as just about everyone is picking the Buckeyes to handle Oregon in Columbus.
The Ducks head into hostile territory fresh off a shaky opening performance against Fresno State which called for a late comeback, down three points in the fourth quarter. Ohio State, too, struggled in its opener at Minnesota, but the quality of opponents was clearly different.
Oregon needs to prove that the opener was an extreme outlier and it’s a serious national title contender with a win or very close loss to Ohio State.
Right now, the spread for the game on WynnBET is a ridiculous 16.5 points.
