2. The secondary proves it can be elite
Arizona quarterback Jordan McCloud passed the ball 36 times and nearly 15 percent of his attempts ended in interceptions. In fact, he threw a whopping five picks on Saturday night and the Oregon secondary proved that it can be one of the best in college football.
Bennett Williams did a really solid job in that Star position, picking off two passes, returning one for a touchdown, and finishing second on the team with eight total tackles.
Verone McKinley picked off his fourth pass of the season which is tied for first in college football and he also had six tackles. And Mykael Wright was solid, picking off a pass as well and he finished with six tackles and a tackle for loss for the Ducks.
Steve Stephens IV ended the day with seven tackles and a tackle for loss, DJ James had five tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss, and Jamal Hill and Dontae Manning each finished with two tackles.
