Cal actually shocked Oregon a year ago which happened to be the Ducks’ second straight loss after falling to Oregon State the week before. You can bet that Mario Cristobal won’t let that happen here.

I’m not a huge believer in Cal as a contender in the Pac-12, and there’s a good reason for that as the Golden Bears are just 1-3 on the year. Cal’s three losses are all by a touchdown or less, so there’s reason for optimism if you’re a Golden Bears fan, but their only win was against Sacramento State which is less than ideal.

Oregon will be the best team the Golden Bears have faced all year and that’s going to lead to a pretty comfortable win here by the Ducks.

Cal’s defense definitely misses Tim DeRuyter as the secondary is surrendering nearly 300 yards per game through the air and we may see a big game from Anthony Brown here. I’m going to say four total touchdowns from the senior quarterback.

Oregon exacts revenge here and wins big.

Final Score: Cal 17, Oregon 38 (6-0, 3-0)
