Oregon is going to hit the road on Saturday afternoon for the second time this season, taking on a Stanford team that might be just 2-2 on the year, but will be a tough out.

The Ducks have gotten off to a hot start at 4-0 while the Cardinal are looking to pull off the massive upset over the nation’s third-ranked team.

Anthony Brown and CJ Verdell look to lead the offense and Kayvon Thibodeaux will be back to wreak havoc against Tanner McKee and the Cardinal. This game is not going to be the easy win that many Duck fans are expecting.

Oregon vs Stanford prediction Week 5

Oregon is on the road and facing one of the best quarterbacks in the Pac-12 this season. McKee has over 850 yards and eight touchdowns with no interceptions through four games. But the Cardinal are fairly one-dimensional as they average just over 100 rushing yards compared to 235 passing yards.

The Ducks are led by Anthony Brown who has over 750 yards and six touchdown passes this year and also CJ Verdell who has 343 yards and four touchdowns. He’s going to have himself one of the best games of his career against a Cardinal defense that has been awful against the run.

Oregon wins this one after pulling away late, 31-21.
