1. The game is decided by halftime
Colorado has taken a massive step back this season on both sides of the ball, but especially on offense, averaging about 15 points per game. That alone is going to be the main difference.
The Buffaloes just can’t seem to score.
Oregon, on the other hand, has been waiting for a game like this against an inferior opponent that doesn’t have the ability to score with ease and that’s going to play right into the Ducks’ favor. Kayvon Thibodeaux is going to feast on that offensive line and probably pick up another couple of sacks and 3-4 tackles for loss while the secondary will make life very difficult for the Buffaloes.
Verone McKinley is due for an interception and I think we’re going to see the Ducks pick off a couple of passes early and force the Buffaloes to scramble to come back.
But that’s not going to happen.
I see Oregon building a three-touchdown lead in the first half and never looking back en route to a blowout win.
Yes, finally some style points.
