1. Oregon goes 4-0 with four double-digit wins

Outsiders may look at Oregon’s remaining schedule and just assume that it’s the easiest road to 4-0 out of any team currently in the top four of the playoff rankings.

Georgia has a pretty clear path to 12-0 with a lone tough contest at Tennessee but that should be an easy win. Alabama still has to play Auburn and doesn’t exactly have a cakewalk this weekend against LSU. Michigan State faces Purdue, Penn State, and Ohio State still. But the Ducks don’t have a single ranked team on the schedule for November.

Because of that, I think Oregon goes 4-0 and is in a prime position to make the playoff with another Pac-12 title game victory.

The schedule, however, isn’t as easy as people might think. The Ducks still have to travel to Washington and Utah and both Oregon State and Washington State could be sneaky tough. Washington and Utah will be far from easy road wins, but I think the Ducks pull away late in both.

Oregon State and Washington State will put up fights, but Oregon is far more talented than both and will just assert its dominance.

Four wins by double-digits to end the regular season is exactly what this team needs to continue impressing the playoff committee.
