This game has been circled on Oregon’s schedule ever since last season when the Ducks went into Corvallis expecting to pick up an easy win over the rival Beavers, but they got anything but.

Oregon State upset Oregon a year ago, 41-38, which nearly cost the Ducks a spot in the Pac-12 title game. The Ducks have not forgotten that game.

Mario Cristobal is going to refresh his team on what happened against the Beavers last year so it doesn’t happen again and I think the message will be received without a doubt. The Ducks are going to race out to a big lead for a third straight home game and never look back.

While anything can happen in rivalry games, a win here would put the Ducks one victory away from a College Football Playoff berth and they’re not going to let the slightly above average Beavers ruin their hopes this time around.

Travis Dye and Byron Cardwell are going to run all over the Beavers en route to a two-score win.
