2. Ducks have two 100-yard rushers

This is something that hasn’t happened since CJ Verdell went down with a season-ending injury, but I see the Ducks taking advantage of a poor Washington State run defense.

Oregon has a few capable running backs despite losing Verdell for the season. The lead back right now is the veteran Travis Dye. Behind him are guys like Seven McGee and Byron Cardwell. While McGee hasn’t seen the field much this season, Cardwell has broken out as of late, rushing for over 100 yards just two games ago against Colorado.

Dye is no stranger to breakout games and he’s coming off of his best game of the season against Washington when he ran for 211 yards and a touchdown on 28 carries.

Both guys have 100-plus yard games over the past two weeks and I think they come together to each have elite performances against Washington State.

The Cougars allow over 150 rushing yards per game and I think both Cardwell and Dye will combine to break that, and then some, with 100-plus each.
