Oregon football started the game with the ball and needed just under five minutes to get into the endzone. It was a drive that included Anthony Brown using his legs and his arm. Oregon found itself in a fourth-down situation. Rather than trying for a field goal, Travis Dye ran 20 yards to the endzone following a time-out. Oregon was up 7-0 on Oregon State.

Oregon kicked the ball out of bounds giving Oregon State good field position starting at the 35-yard line. Oregon State would get one first down on the drive that ended with a punt. Brandon Dorlus stopped Running BJ Baylor at the 48-yard line forcing a punt.

Oregon Quarterback Anthony Brown found Devon Williams in the end zone on the next drive for a 50-yard touchdown pass helping push the Ducks lead to 14-0. The Ducks were off to a fast start and a two-touchdown cushion early over Oregon State in a game that would send the Ducks with a win to the Pac-12 Championship Game.

Oregon State would add a field goal before the end of the 1st quarter in a penalty-free first fifteen minutes of football.

The Oregon Ducks would add 10 points with a field goal and touchdown before halftime to extend their lead to 24-3 over Oregon State. Anthony Brown led the team on the ground with 72 yards. Travis Dye had 47 yards rushing in the first half. Oregon also tried for some big plays downfield that ultimately missed the mark, but for a team lacking in explosive plays this season, it was a welcome sight.

Oregon State added a touchdown in the third quarter to make it 24-9. They missed the two-point conversion. Oregon again found ways to move the ball racking up 355 yards through three quarters.

Oregon would add to their lead as Anthony Brown found Chris Hutson in the endzone to help make it 31-9 Ducks over Oregon State with 12 minutes left in the game. Oregon State would answer with a score of their own, but again miss the two-point conversion thanks to Verone McKinley at the goal line with the score 31-15 Ducks.

Oregon State had the momentum and after an Oregon three and out, took it down the field again to pull within 10 points capping a 46-yard drive and missing their third straight two-point conversion. Injuries to some key players on defense including Noah Sewell did not help, but again, the Ducks were allowing an opponent back into the game as Oregon State was down 10 points with just over 8 minutes remaining.

The Ducks found a way to respond with a 75-yard 9 play drive for a touchdown. Travis Dye took it into the endzone from a yard out after a 23-yard catch and run. The play put Oregon at 500 yards of offense for the day and gave them a 38-21 lead over Oregon State. The Beavers had some fight left in them scoring a touchdown in the last 90 seconds of the game and would make the two-point conversion making it 38-29 Oregon.

In the end, it was a fairly balanced attack by Oregon. Anthony Brown finished the game with 275 yards passing and two touchdowns. Travis Dye had 99-yards on the ground. The win earned Oregon a spot in the Pac-12 Championship game where they will again face the Utah Utes. The game will be played on Friday, Dec. 3. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. Pacific Time from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on ABC.
