With Oregon football looking to finish its 2022 class on a high note under Dan Lanning, which five recruits could commit on signing day?

National Signing Day is just a couple of weeks away and Dan Lanning and Oregon football are hoping to finish strong after Mario Cristobal’s departure decimated the 2022 class.

Oregon went from a top-10 class to somewhere in the 50-60 range and although Lanning has landed a couple of commitments, they weren’t exactly four and five-star talents like the ones the Ducks lost when Cristobal took the job at Miami.

But there are some impressive targets still on the board ahead of signing day and there’s a handful of top prospects who could commit and sign with the Ducks.

Which five 2022 targets could commit to the Ducks on — or by — National Signing Day?

A one-time Oregon commit, Dave Iuli didn’t sign with the Ducks in the early period and actually waited until Christmas Day to decommit. He was one of the top prospects in Oregon’s 2022 class but the Mario Cristobal departure clearly had a major impact on his decision.

Cristobal is actually making a strong push for Iuli at Miami and the four-star lineman just took an official visit there last week, just one month after receiving an offer from the Hurricanes.

Oregon could still get a visit from the four-star interior offensive lineman, but his trip to Miami seemed to be a resounding success for Cristobal. Dan Lanning, however, has been in contact with him, telling him that he wants him to be part of the Ducks’ 2022 class.

Iuli is ranked the No. 192 overall recruit and 12th-best interior offensive lineman in the class, per the composite.
