Oregon football held its annual spring game last Saturday afternoon and a handful of players stood out and raised their stocks.

The first Oregon football spring game under Dan Lanning is in the books, and there is plenty for the Duck faithful to be excited and encouraged by.

The question on just about everyone’s mind was what the new offense under Coach Kenny Dillingham would look like. That was answered in an emphatic fashion with the first play of the game being a 70-yard toss from Bo Nix to newly-turned wide receiver Seven McGee. Less than nine minutes later, the yellow team was up 14 points.

Even with a bit of a depleted roster, each side’s defense buckled down and turned up the heat. They would go on to record several sacks and tackles for loss while also snagging a few interceptions.

For most of the afternoon, it was a back-and-forth game, and while there were several bright spots on the field, there are five that really stood out.
