Oregon running back Jonathan Stewart set a Sun Bowl record with 253 rushing yards on just 23 carries. Yet, he only scored one touchdown in the dominant blowout win.

In the 2007 season, Oregon climbed as high as No. 2, but lost four games down the stretch and finished 9-4 and No. 23 in the country.
