Every week, it feels like Oregon men's basketball coach Dana Altman and the Ducks are included in the recruitment updates for a four-star or five-star prospect.
Today, it was four-star shooting guard Adam Oumiddoch, the No. 4 SG in the class of 2026, who included the Oregon Ducks as one of his final five schools under consideration.
The Ducks were listed alongside the Illinois Fighting Illini, LSU Tigers, Villanova Wildcats, and St. John's Red Storm in Oumiddoch's narrowed-down list for his future program.
Oumiddoch took a visit to Eugene at the beginning of September, also visiting the Tigers and the Wildcats throughout the month. In October, the young shooting guard has visits scheduled with the other two programs.

Most recently, Oumiddoch played in an adidas 3SSB season, and his in-game growth was on full display. Throughout the season, he averaged 17.4 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game, shooting 53.5 percent from the field and 44 percent from beyond the arc.
Oumiddoch currently plays for Overtime Elite, which is based in Atlanta, GA. However, the prospect grew up in Arlington, VA. Despite his two homes having Power Conference basketball programs, Oumiddoch did not receive offers from the Virginia Cavaliers or Georgia Bulldogs.
Neither On3 and Rivals nor 247Sports has logged an expert prediction for where Oumiddoch will commit, but Oregon being in the final five is undeniably a step in the right direction for Altman and the Ducks.
So far, Oregon has landed just one commitment from the class of 2026: four-star center Kendre Harrison, who stands at 6-foot-7 and 243 pounds, earning the Ducks the No. 49 spot in the national recruiting class rankings and No. 7 in the Big Ten standings.
Last year, Altman brought in two commits: three-star shooting guard JJ Frakes and Turkish center Ege Demir, as well as three transfer portal prospects: four-star power forward Sean Stewart, four-star combo guard TK Simpkins, and four-star small forward Devon Pryor.
