5 performances from last year Oregon would love to see again against Oklahoma State

Saturday brings another matchup for the Oregon Ducks against Oklahoma State as Dan Lanning's team looks to move to 2-0. Last season, the Ducks won in a 69-3 blowout over the Cowboys, but this year's team under Eric Morris is a whole new team. While the Cowboys will be a far better team this season, Oregon fans would still love repeat performances from last year's standouts.

Last season, the Ducks played a clean game in every phase while taking advantage of every mistkae the Cowboys made. While Dante Moore was a standout in his first Power 4 start, the Ducks got great performances out of everyone from true freshmen, backups, and new addiitions making for one of the most enjoyable games of the season.

5 Ducks who could make another big impact against Oklahoma State

Dante Moore - Quarterback

Last season, Dante Moore's first Power 4 start came against Oklahoma State, and he easily passed the test, completing 16 of 21 attempts for 266 yards and 3 touchdowns. While more production would be great for his chances at winning the Heisman, Oregon would sign up for that level of production instantly. As long as the offense plays clean football, Oregon will have a great chance in every game, and against this defense, Moore just has to let his playmakers make an impact.

Peyton Woodyard - Safety

Oregon is still working through some position battles in the secondary, which should continue into this weekend. If Peyton Woodyard can stack a performance similar to the one he put together last season, he may find himself as the full-time starter next to Koi Perich at safety the rest of the season. Last year, Woodyard finished the Oklahoma State game with a Pick 6 and 5 tackles, and it'll be tough to replicate, but it would be an incredible performance.

Teitum Tuioti - Edge Rusher

The Oregon Ducks' defensive line is going to be key in this game as Oklahoma State let up a pair of sacks in the season opener. Considering that the Cowboys are down their starting left tackle, the edge rushers are going to need to step up in this game. Teitum Tuioti racked up a sack with 1.5 tackles for a loss in the game last year, and a sack in this game would go a long way toward starting the season on a high note.

Jerry Mixon - Linebacker

Like Peyton Woodyard's performance last year, Jerry Mixon will have a tough time topping his showing last season, but it would be beloved by the fans. Last season, Mixon recorded just 1 tackle, but also scored on a pick 6 helping in the 69-3 win over the Cowboys. The realistic hope is to see Jerry Mixon's tackles tick up in this game, but an interception alone would be great for the defense.

Dakorien Moore - Wide Receiver

Dakorien Moore only caught two passes in his second career game against Oklahoma State, but he made the most out of them. Moore finished the game with 2 catches for 69 yards and a touchdown, which came on an electric 65-yard score. While the Ducks would love for more receptions out of Moore, but if he's going to create the big plays like we saw last weekend against Boise, Oregon will take it.
