Almost every College GameDay host has no faith in Oregon beating Penn State

If Dan Lanning and the Oregon football team were looking for some extra motivation to take down Penn State on Saturday night, they just got it. In primetime, the Ducks are going to be looking to post an unforgettable upset road win. However, not everyone has a ton of faith in them.

Desmond Howard and Kirk Herbstreit have high praise for the Oregon Ducks

During College GameDay, just about everyone picked James Franklin and Penn State to take care of business in front of the 'white out' crowd. With that said, the one and only Desmond Howard sees things differently, as he's rocking with the Ducks to post a memorable win and silence everyone in Happy Valley:

Desmond Howard was the only College GameDay host to pick Oregon over Penn State

Of course Nick Saban, Kirk Herbstreit, LaVar Arrington and Pat McAfee went with the Nittany Lions. However, Howard, a former Heisman winner with Michigan, sees a lot of potential in Oregon proving everyone wrong. Hey, we're not going to disagree with him.

Thus far this season, Oregon has looked sensational and no one has been able to slow down quarterback Dante Moore, who is no question in the Heisman hunt. Moore's incredible play is a big reason why the Ducks are a perfect 4-0 on the year and the No. 6 team in the country.

With that said, Penn State has been on fire this year too, checking in as the No. 3 squad in the AP Top 25 poll. The Nittany Lions are 3-0 on the year, looking to improve to 4-0 on Saturday night. Drew Allar has been playing strong too, throwing for 626 yards and four touchdowns.

The Oregon defense also has to worry about the strong Penn State ground attack, which has been led by Kaytron Allen and Nicholas Singleton. The two have combined for eight rushing scores on the year. It's of course going to be a tall task to contain those two, but the Oregon defense will be ready to answer the call. Should the Ducks indeed come out on top, Howard will be quick to say 'I told you so' to his colleagues.
