Pitching ace Grayson Grimsley tossed a complete-game two hitter, striking out seven and walking one as No. 16 Oregon edged No. 10 UCLA 2-1 at PK Park Friday night.
The win moved Iowa into the Big Ten league at 15-4 and dropped the Bruins into second place at 12-4, with the Ducks third at 13-6. It's the biggest win of the season thus far for Mark Wasikowski's squad.
In the bottom of the third with second baseman Ryan Cooney led off with a single and stole second. Dominic Hellman laced a two-out single to left for a 1-0 lead.
