Shut out for the first three quarters, Bo Nix rallied Denver at Mile High Stadium, becoming the first quarterback in NFL history to run for two touchdowns and pass for two touchdowns in the fourth quarter as the Broncos surged past New York 33-32 to claim first place in the AFC West at 5-2.
The visiting Giants led 19-0 at the end of the third and 26-8 with 10:14 to play after Jaxson Dart hit Theo Johnson for a 41-yard touchdown pass. NFL teams had lost 1,602 straight games when trailing by 18 with six minutes to play but the former Oregon Heisman Trophy finalist pulled it off.
"I feel sorry for the people who left early," Nix said in an on-field television interview with Melanie Collins of CBS.
The comeback started when Nix connected with Duck teammate Troy Franklin for a two-yard touchdown with 14:08 to go, then rolled right to find Courtland Sutton in the end zone for a two-point conversion to close within 19-8.

After Nix's 7-yard touchdown run and a two-yard TD pass to running back RJ Harvey got the Broncos to within 26-23, the defense held the Giants three and out. The second-year pro launched a deep shot to Marvin Mims for 31 yards, then scored on an 18-yard scramble for Denver's first lead of the game, 26-23.
It seemed over when Dart and the Giants answered with a quick scoring drive. The New York rookie completed a 19-yard pass to Wan' Dale Robinson on 4th and 19, then snuck over from the 1 after a pass interference penalty to make it 32-30 with :37 seconds to play.
That left time for one more Mile High miracle. Nix zipped a 29-yard throw to Mims, found Sutton down the left sideline for 22 yards to the Giant 21, then spiked the ball to set up a 39-yard field goal by Will Lutz to win 33-32.
