Poised, resourceful and courageous, Bo Nix became an Oregon fan favorite and an NFL first rounder in his two years as the Ducks' starting quarterback.
In his second year in the NFL he's led the Denver Broncos to the AFC Championship, but his season came to a heartbreaking end on the game-winning drive in overtime, 33-30 over the Buffalo Bills.
Nix rolled left on a keeper, took a hard tackle at the Bills 38, fracturing a bone in his right ankle. He's scheduled to have season-ending surgery on Tuesday.
The Pinson, Alabama native led the 14-3 Broncos on an eight-play, 73-yard drive late in the fourth quarter to take the lead 30-27 before Josh Allen and Buffalo sent it to overtime with a 50-yard field goal in the final minute of regulation. In the extra period, a controversial call on an interception and two pass interference penalties aided the home win.
I do agree with the idea of watching replays in real speed or something close to it https://t.co/0WJlKsxMq5

Saturday night Nix became the first player in NFL history to throw for 7500 yards, rush for 750 yards and lead his team to the championship game in his first two seasons. He threw for 279 yards and three touchdowns to best Josh Allen and garner his eighth game-winning drive of the season and 25th career win.
The all-time NCAA record holder for passing accuracy in a season as a Duck, Nix threw two long touchdowns in the game, scoring tosses of 26 and 29 yards, plus a 7-yard TD pass to offensive lineman Frank Crum.

Denver has to turn to Jarrett Stidham, who hasn't thrown a pass this season
With Bo unable to go, the Broncos will turn to his backup, Jarrett Stidham, the quarterback who preceded him at Auburn. Stidham hasn't thrown a pass this season, though he's started four games in his career.
Despite the injury Nix finished the game and even did a postgame midfield interview. “He’s a tough cookie,” head coach Sean Payton said. “And this team all year has lost key players and will rise up for the next challenge.”
