If you were to look at the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds a month ago, you probably would've seen Jayden Daniels and no Bo Nix. The former Oregon quarterback was struggling through his first month of professional football. But man, has that ever changed in a hurry.

The former Oregon star had one touchdown and four interceptions through his first four games and some fans were ready to pull out the premature "bust" card.

And then something changed when the calendar flipped to October. He started making better decisions and his confidence grew immediately. He kicked the turnover bug and began to light up the scoreboard for the Broncos. The team was once considered one of the worst in the league and now it's 7-5 after yet another win on Sunday and it's thanks to the growth of Nix.

Since October, Nix has 15 touchdown passes to just two interceptions and he's thrown for over 200 yards in every game but one. He's also 5-3 during this stretch.

What was once a massive lead in the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year race for Daniels is now just a toss-up, according to DraftKings.

Per the betting site, Daniels is still the slight favorite at -135 odds but Nix is right there now at No. 2 with +110 odds. So if you're feeling like he's going to come back and overtake his fellow rookie quarterback, you should throw something on Nix to win rookie of the year at plus odds.

Just one week ago, Nix was a distant second place in the race with Daniels sitting at -300. Now, the race is much tighter thanks to the red-hot Nix.

On the year, Nix is 13th in the NFL with 2,548 passing yards and he's 11th with 16 touchdown passes. He's really come on as of late and if he keeps this up in the final five games, he might just run away with the award -- and a playoff berth.
