Bo Nix arguably locked down his place as the Denver Broncos' newest franchise quarterback throughout the 2024-25 season. While leading the team to their first Playoff appearance since 2015 and a 10-7 overall record, Nix became a star.
Following Denver's loss to the Buffalo Bills in their Wild Card matchup, reports came out that Nix had been playing through a pretty serious injury; a fractured back.
Zac Stevens, a Broncos beat reporter, shared that Nix "suffered the three vertebrae process fractures in the first half of the Raiders game. He finished the game. Then insisted on playing the following week against the Browns to be there for his team."
The injury took place during Denver's four-game winning streak in which Nix was an instrumental piece of the Broncos' victories. Fans and opposing teams were reportedly unaware of the injury as Nix shouldered the pain and played through the fractures and continued to show up for the Broncos' offense.
