The Oregon Ducks are finally less than 24 hours away from kicking off the season, starting what should be an exciting year for the program. The season opener isn't the biggest clash, but Boise State is one of the strongest Non-Power 4 teams, which should give Oregon some resistance as the Ducks kick off the season.

The expectation for the Ducks is to blow Boise State out, as the oddsmakers like FanDuel Sportsbook have made Oregon 24.5 point favorites over the Broncos.

While Oregon may not need any outside help to win this game, the Ducks got some help from Mother Nature on Friday.

Boise State's dealing with major travel trouble ahead of game day

The Boise State Broncos planned to fly into Eugene on Friday, but the weather had other plans. When the plane tried to land in Eugene, the runway was covered in rain, forcing the Broncos to land in Portland. After it became clear the team wouldn't be able to fly from Portland to Eugene with the weather, the Broncos decided to take a bus to Eugene.

Adding insult to injury, Boise State's buses had to come from Eugene, meaning that the team won't get into town until nighttime.

Oregon likely doesn't need any added benefits, and it's not clear how much missing out on a few hours of sleep will affect the Broncos. Travel trouble is a nightmare for anyone, and for Boise State being pushed off their schedule has to be incredibly frustrating.

The good news for Boise State, Oregon, and everyone attending the game is that it's expected to be a cool 63 degrees around kickoff. The weather forecast also predicts a 0% chance of precipitation, but that prediction isn't needed, as it never rains in Autzen Stadium.
