If the Oregon Ducks are going to live up to their potential and all the expectations being placed on this group, it's going to take more than just the superstars carrying this team. Dan Lanning needs the younger players who have shown potential early in their careers to take that next step, becoming stars. When you look at last year's freshman class, no one fits that potential more than Dakorien Moore.
Coming out of High School, Dakorien Moore signed with the Ducks as the Nation's top wide receiver recruit as a 5-star. As a freshman, Moore showed that elite talent with 34 catches for 497 yards and 3 touchdowns while rushing for 49 yards and a score. Injuries limited Moore's production, but the Ducks will need him to become a more consistent contributor rather than a player with great flashes.

As Oregon winds down fall camp, everyone is eager to finally see the team in action and find out what it looks like after an offseason of development. A recent glimpse into the Ducks' fall camp provided another reminder of just how talented Dakorien Moore is, as he hauled in an absurd one-handed catch over Ify Obidegwu.

Everyone looks at the incredible after the catch ability from Dakorien Moore, but seeing him go up and win a 50/50 ball with a one-handed catch is even more exciting. The speed is clearly there for Dakorien Moore, and if he's going to add leaping spectacular catches to the mix, he could end up being one of the most exciting players in the sport.
The wide receiver room clearly has a ton of talent with Evan Stewart returning from injury, Dakorien Moore, Jeremiah McClellan, UAB transfer Iverson Hooks, and all the younger wide receivers. The room however, lacks a true alpha and a player Oregon can lean on to lead the receiving game on a weekly basis. If Dakorien Moore can step into that role, and become Dante Moore's top target, the Ducks offense will be in great shape.
