When Dakorien Moore committed to Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks, it solidified the program out West as blue-blood. Moore was not only the top receiver in the 2025 class of prospects but also one of the top overall athletes in the class.
Since then, Moore has stuck with the Ducks and is projected to be a big-time contributor as a freshman on Oregon's roster. Just seven months before Oregon's season kicked off, On3 released its final rankings of the recruiting class and Moore stood above any other future Duck.
The On300 list is the industry standard for ranking incoming prospects and alongside Moore in the top 50 were future Oregon defensive backs Trey McNutt and Na'eem Offord. However, Moore earned a top-10 spot, landing at No. 6 in the class.
Moore not only had an incredible performance at the Under Armour All-American game, earning him the MVP award of the national matchup, but also had an elite high school career for Duncanville (TX).
Dakorien Moore high school stats
- 204 receptions
- 4,113 receiving yards (20.2 YPC)

Moore and his team finished the regular season with a perfect record and remained flawless until the semifinal round of the Texas state playoffs. In his final high school season, Moore and Duncanville High School earned a 14-1 overall record.
In the Under Armour All-American game, Moore earned an incredible 83-yard punt return for a touchdown. The future Duck also showed off his elusiveness as he evaded tackles and earned yards after contact throughout his final high-school-level game.
Moore should make an immediate difference for the Oregon offense as he will quickly turn into a highly-talented target for quarterback Dante Moore to throw to.
