After the conclusion of spring practices, all Oregon fans are excited to see what the coaching staff is able to do on the recruiting trail. Dan Lanning and his staff have built Oregon into a yearly contender for the Nation's top recruiting class, and as some of the 5-star recruits have become superstars for the Ducks, it only makes the recruiting process more exciting.
Every Summer, Dan Lanning and his staff have made it a tradition to go on incredible recruiting runs as at times, it's felt like Oregon was landing elite players on a daily basis. The Summer is on the horizon, and as official visit season kicks off, the Ducks were able to make a key addition to the recruiting class.
Oregon reels in 4-star OL recruit over Vanderbilt and Miami
On Thursday, 4-star interior offensive lineman Gus Corsair announced his commitment, picking Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks over Miami and Vanderbilt.
Landing Corsair is a major win for Dan Lanning and the coaching staff as they pick up a highly coveted recruit. The Ducks made sure to put themselves in a great position to pick up a commitment, getting Corsair on campus for a visit, and even took a visit to see him on the eve of his announcement which certainly didn't hurt.

Rivals' Industry Recruiting Rankings rank Gus Corsair as the 313th ranked player in the Country, the 21st ranked interior offensive lineman in the class, and the 2nd ranked player out of Kansas. Corsair projects best as a center at the next level, which is where he'll likely factor into Oregon's offensive line pipeline.
Landing another piece on the offensive line was important for the Ducks as he joins offensive tackle Avery Michael as the only two pieces on the line in this class. Oregon already has the Nation's top QB recruit Will Mencl which should only make it easier this Summer for Lanning and Co. to fill in the gaps in this group.
