The good news just won't stop coming on for the Oregon Ducks football program. This team is 12-0, No. 1 in the country and fresh off a dominant win over Washington. Life sure is good for the entire team, of course including head coach Dan Lanning.

With the Early Signing Period here, it has been a memorable day for the Ducks, but things just got even sweeter for them. That's because 5-star quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele has had a change of heart, flipping his commitment from Cal to Oregon. Yeah, this is massive for the Ducks.

5-star QB Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele has flipped his commitment from Cal to Oregon

This indeed is tremendous news for Lanning and his program. Previously, it was expected that Sagapolutele might end up with Georgia, but he canceled his visit late in the process. Cal was hoping to hang on, but when the No. 1 team in the country comes calling, you listen.

Sagapolutele is an elite prospect and the kind of playmaker that a lot of analysts think will go on to play in the NFL one day. Throughout his recruitment, the new Duck picked up 15 offers, with Cal, Oregon, Georgia, Oregon, Boise State, Washington, Washington State and others extending a ride.

Checking in at 6-3, 210 pounds, Sagapolutele has great size already and he's only going to get bigger and stronger once he makes his way to Eugene. This was a Signing Day surprise Ducks fans were hoping for and luckily the breaking news just came in. We can't overstate things - this is a monster get for Oregon.

5-star CB Na'eem Offord has also flipped to Oregon

Want more incredible news? Well, that just came in. Shortly after we published this piece on Sagapolutele flipping, Ohio State 5-star cornerback commit Na'eem Offord had done the same in favor of Oregon. Wow, just wow.
