The Oregon Ducks just eked out a win over the Iowa Hawkeyes, and even though they are flying home with the win, their loyal supporters made sure to have their voices heard on social media, completely ripping into the officiating throughout the game.

From uneven penalty calling to blatantly biased commentary, Oregon fans were irate as the Ducks struggled to maintain a lead over Iowa.

In the first half alone, Oregon defensive linemen were called for hands to the face, when their hands weren't even touching the face of a Hawkeye player, and offensive linemen were called for hold after hold (that weren't there) while Iowa got off scot-free.

Even beat reporters had to voice their distaste for the Big Ten referees throughout the top-25 matchup, as the Hawkeyes repeatedly got away with penalties and the Ducks were continuously called for even the smallest of infractions.

During the replay review of Iowa's (eventually unsuccessful two-point conversion), the commentators were seemingly trying to will the attempt to be confirmed by the officials, despite the receiver clearly being out of bounds.

Not to mention, it was already the second review of the game where the Hawkeyes got to push the boundaries of what is usually allowed during an official review.

Throughout the complete slugfest between the two Big Ten opponents, more and more Oregon fans piled on their hate for the referees, even as the Ducks earned the 18-16 win over Iowa.

Throughout the matchup, Iowa was called for one penalty, resulting in a 10-yard difference on the field. Meanwhile, Oregon was called for five penalties, resulting in the loss of 57 yards by the end of the game.

At the end of the day, despite the terrible penalty calls and biased commentary, the Ducks flew home with the win, improving to 8-1 overall and 5-1 in Big Ten play, creeping even closer to the top of the Big Ten standings.

Meanwhile, Iowa fell to 6-3 overall and 4-2 against conference opponents, most likely dropping the Hawkeyes out of the top 25 for the upcoming College Football Playoff rankings.

Up next, the No. 9 Ducks are scheduled to face the unranked Minnesota Golden Gophers before hosting the No. 19 USC Trojans and then visiting the No. 23 Washington Huskies to close out the regular season.
