The Ducks have a bye week, can't you tell?

The Oregon Ducks do not play football this week. With the Ducks' signature fashion and style being a huge part of their identity, now is the time to observe the great uniform combinations they've put on this season. From the classics to the Grateful Ducks, Oregon has put on quite the visual carousel. Let's go through every uniform combination the Ducks have worn this season and rank them from worst to best. Remember, this is completely subjective and just one man's opinion.

No. 8: Classic White and Yellow vs. Northwestern

Now, I don't think Oregon has necessarily put on a bad uniform combination, but one of them has to be ranked the lowest. All these rankings are super close, and any way you rank them would be acceptable. The yellow and white uniforms the Ducks wore against Northwestern were clean, but not the best of the Ducks' work. Not too much to say about these besides how great the throwback helmets are. The Ducks wore this combination during a sleepy 34-14 win against Northwestern to open Big Ten conference play.

No. 7: Green and Black vs. Indiana

I'll admit, the bitterness of this loss may have something to do with this uniform being so low. It's cool, but it is just not my favorite. We have worn black a lot this season, and I just don't think this is much more appealing than those other uniform combos. I liked their previous version of this combo we wore against Penn State in the Big Ten Championship better. While donning these unis, the Ducks lost to Indiana at home, 30-20.

No. 6: All Green vs. Oklahoma State

It pains me to put these so low. These uniforms just radiate nostalgia. When you think of Oregon, you think green and yellow, and thus uniform splashes them both perfectly. They are extremely simple, but effective. I wish we got to see these jerseys and helmets used way more this season, and hopefully we'll see them in the final stretch of games. The Ducks wore these in a blowout win against Oklahoma State by a score of 69-3.

No. 5: Grateful Ducks Uniforms vs. Wisconsin

A lot of you may disagree with this. The Grateful Ducks' uniforms are unique and interesting. They give a nod to the Grateful Dead band, which had a connection to the school. The tie-dye celebrates the "hippiness" of Eugene. However, they just feel more fun than like an actual great Oregon uniform. Not much is different from the Ducks' regular blacks besides a few number and patch swaps. Really cool idea, just not a favorite. The Ducks wore these in a rainy win against Wisconsin, 21-7.

No. 4: Mummy Duck Uniforms vs. Penn State

The white and black mummy uniforms are amazing. Truly a perfect use of the black helmets and pants. The glow-in-the-dark mummy sleeves and accessories were the cherry on top. Had they worn these closer to Halloween, maybe they would have gained a few points in this ranking. While the win doesn't mean as much now, these uniforms capped off what was a terrific battle against Penn State. The only reason this isn't higher is because of how great Oregon has done with their use of white this season. The Mummy Ducks took down Penn State on the road, during a white-out, 30-24.

No. 3: Shoe Duck Uniforms vs. Oregon State

This list is so hard to make, and it only gets more difficult at the top. The "Shoe Duck" uniforms are stunning. The wings of Nike on the side, the grey and gold, and the uniqueness of it all. These uniforms were a love letter to Uncle Phil Knight and his rich history at Oregon. There are plenty of tiny details and easter eggs in these. Just truly one of the best Oregon uniforms this year. Plus, when wearing the Shoe Duck fit, the Ducks beat their rival, Oregon State, 41-7.

No. 2: Green and Yellow vs. Montana State

Now this is a uniform that just screams Oregon. I am a massive fan of these jerseys and helmets, and we must see them more often. Every piece of the uniform complements the others so well. The yellow helmets with the green wings are all you could ask for in a Ducks' hat, and the throwback jerseys pop so well with it. The yellow pants and green shoes were the perfect choice to pair with the top half. The Ducks wore this signature look in their first game against Montana State, where they claimed victory behind a score of 59-13.

No. 1: All White, Marble Helmets vs. Rutgers

Here we are. The best combo the Ducks have worn all year (in my opinion). I am a sucker for Oregon's white uniforms, and these are just chef's kiss. While an all white uniform may be "basic" or "simple", these look so good. The marble details on the helmet are so cool. Fresh, clean, any positive adjective will do when describing this combo. After the disappointing loss to Indiana, the Ducks wore these beauties as they traveled to Rutgers and stomped Rutgers by a score of 56-10.
