Oregon opened the second half with a 10-play, 63-yard touchdown drive, Dante Moore hitting Gary Bryant Jr. for a touchdown on 3rd and 2 from the 11, Moore's third touchdown to a third different receiver after hitting Dakorien Moore and Malik Benson for long touchdowns in the first.

Slowing the pace a bit, the Ducks led 48-3 at the nine-minute mark of the third.

Teitum Tuioti broke through for a sack, forcing third and 13. Aaron Flowers shut down a pass of the middle short of the sticks and, the defense had its sixth three and out and 7th punt. They'd held the Pokes to 132 yards of offense while rolling up 536.

Luke Moga came in at quarterback and completed his first pass as a Duck, for two yards. Atticus Sappington missed a 57-yard field goal try wide right.

The defense kept up intensity, stuffing a running play, then a pass knocked down at the line by Ashton Porter. Blake Purchase sniffed out a running play on third and long, Gundy's crew punting for the eighth time.

Moga rolled right and hit McClellan on a 51-yard catch-and-run inside the five. Jordon Davison punched it over the left side in a Jumbo Formation with seven offensive linemen and a fullback. 55-3.

Linebacker Jerry Mixon read the quarterback's eyes, stepped in front of a slant pass, intercepted it and returned it for a 26-yard touchdown.

On the next series Peyton Woodyard lurked in the flat zone and picked off another pass, returning it 25 yards for another TD, 69-3. Ashton Porter got pressure inside to force a hurried throw.

When this game was scheduled, Oklahoma State was coming off two straight Top 25 finishes and back-to-back 10-3 seasons. Oregon had suffered through 4-8 and 7-6, just before Mario Cristobal began a resurgence, taken to the next level by Dan Lanning.

As the fourth quarter started Moga scrambled for 22. The playing time he's getting will serve him well if or when he looks for a starting opportunity in the future.

It's an extreme quibble, but the Ducks had four false starts and illegal shift, five presnap penalties. Those self-inflicted wounds might be costly against a tougher opponent in a closer game.

Finally at 9:57 of the fourth quarter Oregon chose to punt for the first time this season on 4th and 5 from the Oklahoma State 41. Boise State transfer James Ferguson-Reynolds kicked a beauty downed at the five, good coverage by the gunner.

The Cowboys made their first first down of the second half at 8:23 of the fourth quarter, working out of the shadow of the goal post to the 25 before Solomon Davis and Will Straton corralled Flores for a four-yard loss.

Dakorien Moore fielded a long punt and returned it 15 yards to the Oregon 34, beating four defenders to the edge.

The game got ragged over the last five minutes. The left tackle missed the snap count and No. 4 Brock Thomas got leveled as he threw, Oklahoma State offsides.

The fourth teamers had a bit of trouble setting the edge to the left side, OSU chewed up some yards on the ground in the final quarter but did not score. In all some valuable reps deep into the roster.
