For Game Two in Autzen Stadium Saturday it seems only appropriate that the Ducks and their fans will be decked out in the color of money.

After all, Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy groused this week about the Ducks $40 million roster, suggesting they ought to play their nonconference games against teams in their own financial tier.

Oregon has requested the fans to wear green, and the Ducks are suiting up in green helmets, green jerseys and green pants for the 12:30 p.m. kick, broadcast on CBS and streamed on Paramount TV.

On radio Gundy claimed the Cowboys had spent $7 million over the last three years. "I think Oregon spent close to $40 (million) last year alone. So, that was just one year. Now, I might be off a few million," he said, forgetting that his team was once the passion of chief benefactor T. Boone Pickens, who gave $160 million to OSU sports in 2006, $70 million for stadium renovations in 2003.

The colors will be green, but last-place Okie State may leave Autzen black and blue. Thanks to energetic recruiting, superior player evaluation and all that spending cash the Ducks enter the game with a blue-chip ratio of 67%. OSU's is 3%, including three-star redshirt freshman quarterback Zane Flores, who is starting his first college game on the road in the House of Loud after throwing the first 20 passes of his career last week against UT-Martin.

No. 6 Oregon is a 28.5-point favorite at home against the Cowboys, 0-9 last season in the Big 12, 3-9 overall.
