Sunday in the NFL, Michael Penix got benched and Jake Browning threw a Pick Six. It was a bad day for Husky quarterbacks.
Three Oregon quarterbacks started in the NFL, the first time that's happened since 2007. Marcus Mariota led Washington to a 41-24 win over the Raiders, completing 15-21 passes for 207 yards and a touchdown, a 43-yard strike to Luke McCaffrey that put the game away in the fourth quarter.
Mariota also scrambled for a two-yard touchdown, six carries for 40 yards as he used his legendary speed and mobility to extend drives, breaking loose on runs of 14 and 22 yards to get his team an early lead.
