The Ducks are on a five-game winning streak and they don't seem to be slowing down anytime soon. With just two regular-season games remaining on the calendar, Oregon is peaking at the perfect time and is climbing closer to a return to the AP Top 25 Poll.
In the latest Poll release, Oregon received 37 points and fell just short of the Top 25, earning the No. 28 spot in the country.
Head coach Dana Altman found a way to turn his team's season around after the Ducks had dropped eight conference matchups and stood at 5-8 in Big Ten play. Now at 10-8 against conference opponents and residing in eighth place in Big Ten standings, Oregon looks primed for the upcoming Big Ten and NCAA Tournaments.
Currently, the Big Ten has five teams in the Top 25, the second most for a conference. With Michigan State, Wisconsin, Maryland, Michigan, and Purdue in the Polls, Oregon has two wins over ranked conference opponents (Maryland and Wisconsin).
If the conference standings stay as is, the Ducks would receive a bye in the first round and would play in the first game of the second round against the No. 9 seed, who is currently the Indiana Hoosiers.
