Somebody call Wiz Khalifa, because the Oregon Ducks just dropped some black and yellow uniforms. The Ducks basketball team has gotten a new lineup for the season, and they just added to it with a third uniform. While it hasn't been directly said, with today being gameday, one could assume they would debut tonight against Rice. The new uniform is reminiscent of the football team's "Stomp Out Cancer" yellows from last season, and in the best way possible.

Personally, I am a big fan. They are simple, clean, and effective. Whether it is football or basketball, Oregon finds a way to make it look good, unlike some other sports teams (sorry, Utah Jazz). If they do wear these uniforms against Rice tonight for their second game of the season, it could give the Ducks the boost they desperately need, after the team struggled against an inferior Hawaii team.
The other two uniforms of this new set are fantastic as well. The white uniforms the Ducks wore against Hawaii are fantastic. So far, they are the only ones to say "Ducks" on them, while the green uniforms and the black-and-yellow ones say "Oregon". Unfortunately, if you are a fan of the "fighting ducks" slogan on all the jerseys, you may be disappointed, as it has not been featured yet. The green uniforms give off those classic vibes —the vibes that make you say, "Yep, that right there is a Ducks jersey."

It is cool to see the Ducks switch it up while bringing back some classic themes from the past. The football team started doing it last season, and now we have some beauties to pair for basketball. It is no secret that the Ducks are known for their uniform combos, and there is no shame in it. If you don't pay attention to the Ducks hoops, now is the perfect time, with the season just beginning.
The Oregon Ducks are 1-0 so far, with a tough win against Hawaii. Tonight, they have the chance to clean up their play against the Rice Owls. Oregon could be pretty good this year, as if the uniforms were not enough to pull you in.
