It's Rivalry Week, folks, and that means one thing: we're about to get an Oregon vs. Washington rematch.

These two teams met twice last year and Washington won both matchups to earn a trip to the College Football Playoff. It was a disappointing result for Dan Lanning and Co. who felt like they, too, had what it took to win the Pac-12 and earn a trip to the playoff, but they settled for a New Year's Six bowl where they dominated Liberty.

It's hard to believe that Lanning has never beaten Washington, butin his two years as head coach of the Ducks, he's 0-3 against the Huskies. This matchup will look different, however, as Kalen DeBoer has moved on to Alabama and Michael Penix Jr. is in the NFL.

Will Lanning finally get his first win over Washington?

As is tradition here every week, I ran a simulation for Saturday evening's game on EA Sports College Football 25 to see how it sees the matchup playing out.

Oregon vs. Washington CFB 25 game simulation results

The game actually has a surprising result for this game which is still an Oregon win but it's one of the highest-scoring games that it's predicted all year. Actually it is the highest-scoring game that it's projected this season. It has Oregon winning 58-39 after building a 41-18 lead heading into the fourth.

Here were the key performers from the win.

Player

Stats

Dillon Gabriel

29-for-35, 364 yards, 3 TDs; 15 rushing yards

Jordan James

15 carries for 99 yards and 2 TDs

Noah Whittington

11 carries for 47 yards and 2 TDs; 3 catches for 24 yards

Evan Stewart

8 catches for 121 yards and 1 TD

Traeshon Holden

7 catches for 90 yards and 1 TD

Tez Johnson

5 carries for 71 yards and 1 TD

Terrance Ferguson

4 catches for 41 yards

Tysheem Johnson

6 tackles, 1 pass breakup

Nikko Reed

8 tackles, 1 interception

Jordan Burch

8 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 3 sacks

It was a huge offensive game for the Ducks, as you can see, and this performance may just get Dillon Gabriel invited to New York for the Heisman Trophy Ceremony. And Tez Johnson had a nice first game back from injury while Jordan Burch does the same on the other side of the ball with three sacks.

A near-60-point performance against Washington would be more than welcomed.
