Epic 'Ducks vs Them' introduced with compelling teaser

You can almost hear the iconic steel guitar and Merle Haggard's voice: "Silver Wings. Shining in the sun."

At the Orange Bowl the Ducks met a familiar opponent determined to write a new story. This time Joey McGuire and the Red Raiders had the intimidating defense and the senior quarterback. Maybe it'd be the visitors who would fold in the humidity and pressure, perhaps with a Pick Six in the fourth quarter.

Instead, Oregon revisited a familiar theme. They wore the silver wings again, and when it was over Tosh Lupoi and the defense had painted a masterpiece in black, silver, white and gray, a four-quarter domination, a shutout punctuated by four turnovers. Three times TTU went for it on fourth down, and every time Jadon Canaday, Jerry Mixon and the rest of the Ducks turned them away.

Matayo Uiagalelei's strip/sack/forced fumble and recovery proved every bit as decisive and dramatic as Brandon Dorlus' sack, Jeffrey Bassa's race to the end zone in 2023 in Lubbock.

Later on this afternoon, Oregon fans will get to relive it with another epic "Ducks vs Them." Video coordinator Scott Anderson released a preview Friday night, already viral.
