"USC is lurking in the blind, loaded up with firepower, and itching to take aim." Reece Davis went there this morning on ESPN's College Football GameDay, live from the campus of Autzen Stadium.
Pat McAfee drove The Duck onto the set in the Harley in a dark-visored helmet, leading "Shout" and taking off his shirt in the first five minutes, climbing onto a chair just after his entrance on a 1996 Fat Boy.
He even got Nick Saban onto his feet in his trademark Dodger blue suit, leading "A little bit louder now."
"You can call me the Leader of the Quack right now," McAfee said. "God, it's an honor to be here with you beautiful people."
Davis brought the show back to sanity with a breakdown of Missouri at Oklahoma, the premier matchup today in the SEC.

The show leans heavily into the crazy, but they do love college football.
Peaking at the right time remains critical element
"They've got three guys averaging more than seven yards a carry," Davis said, talking about the Ducks.
Nick Saban added, "Obviously as a coach you want to see your team improve and trend in the right direction during the season."
"I think it's really, really important to be playing your best football towards the end of the season, at the right time."
The kicking contest is at 7:50 and Dan Lanning makes an appearance in the second segment at 6:35.
Oregon is a 10.5-point favorite against No. 15 USC, 12:30 p.m. PT on CBS.
"One thing that can't be overlooked this season is the ball, the ball, the ball," Saban said.
