From 2018 through 2023, point guard Will Richardson was a leader for the Oregon men's basketball team as he took over the reins of the offense following the departure of Duck legend Payton Pritchard. Now, Richardson is working his way through the NBA G-League after going undrafted in 2023.
On Monday night, Richardson recorded his fourth 18-point game of the month as he earned a massive double-double to lead the Grand Rapids Gold to a 121-117 win over the Delaware Blue Coats.

Richardson never averaged a double-double throughout his time with the Ducks. While he averaged 10.6 points a game over those five seasons, his assists (3.4 APG) and rebounds (3.3 RPG) fell well short of the double-digit mark.
However, with the 14-assist performance on Monday, Richardson recorded his career high in that column as he contributed the 18-points to Grand Rapids' total.
Richardson also contributed three rebounds to his team's stat line. The former Duck was joined in double-digit scoring by two of his Gold teammates; PJ Hall and Charles Bediako, who both recorded a double-double as well.

Following the 2023 NBA Draft, Richardson was signed by the Denver Nuggets and has since played for their G-League team. Over the last two years with Grand Rapids, Richardson has averaged 8.3 points, 3.3 assists, and 2.5 rebounds per game.
Richardson has yet to cement himself as a starter for the Gold, having played in 36 games but only starting in 13 of them. The Gold and Richardson will be back in action on Tuesday, Feb. 25 when they face the Cleveland Charge in Grand Rapids, MI.
