The Ducks host Minnesota Friday in Autzen Stadium, 6 p.m. PT on Fox television, a national broadcast and the first meeting between the teams as Big Ten opponents.
Oregon, 8-1, 5-1 in the conference, is a 25.5-point favorite at home, a line that has ticked up four full points since it opened. The over/under is 44.5 and the Moneyline, not available at ESPN Bet two days ago, is Oregon -5000 (the bettor would have to wager $5000 to win $100,) Minnesota +1500 (if the Gophers were to win, a $100 bet would pay $1500, plus the original wager.)
The teams last played at the Sun Bowl in El Paso in 2003, the Golden Gophers winning 31-30 on a field goal by Rhys Lloyd with 23 seconds left. Kellen Clemens threw for 363 yards and three touchdowns, Samie Parker starred with 16 catches for 200 yards and two scores but it wasn't enough.
Time, channel: Minnesota at Oregon from Autzen Stadium, 6:00 p.m. Friday November 14 on Fox.
Announcers: Play-By-Play: Jason Benetti , Analyst: Robert Griffin III , Sideline: Alexa Landestoy
Weather: Showers likely but mild, light winds, temperature at kickoff around 50 degrees with chance of rain 70 percent, .09 inch. Winds from the south, 9 mph.
Concern meter: Three on a scale of 10. P.J. Fleck is 64-42 at Minnesota, fielding a team that always plays hard and competes but lacks elite talent. The Golden Gophers have a competent but unspectacular running game featuring RBs Fame Ijeboi and Darius Taylor, a ground attack that produces a league-worst 110 yards a game and 3.7 yards a carry.
Quarterback Drake Lindsey ranks 12th in the league in passing with a rating of 123.06, 6.3 yards per attempt, 10 touchdowns and six interceptions. This is an offense the Ducks should be able to shut down, but they're playing on short rest after a hard-fought, emotional win at Iowa Saturday.

This season all three of the Big Ten's West Coast contenders, Washington, USC and Oregon have endured a Saturday road game to the Midwest or East Coast followed by a Friday night game at home. In each case the opponent was coming off a bye, a quirk of scheduling that seems almost intentional, as though the league wanted to make it as daunting as possible for the newcomers.
