How to watch Oregon at Texas baseball in the NCAA Super Regional

Fresh off a 3-0 sweep of the Eugene Regional, the scrappy, long ball-hitting Ducks take their season to the Super Regional in Austin, Texas to face the Longhorns of the SEC. Oregon has won 6-7 and 7-9 games in a strong finish.

Baseball has a long history of impossible dreams and miracle finishes, stories like the Gashouse Gang and the Miracle Mets, Russ Hodges screaming, "The Giants win the pennant! The Giants win the pennant!" or Red Sox breaking The Curse of the Bambino.

It'd take one of those stories for the Oregon Ducks to win the 2026 College World Series. They travel to Austin to take on Texas in the Super Regional beginning Friday, and the 43-13 Longhorns are one of the tournament favorites, +500 to win it all at FanDuel. The Ducks are a longshot at +2000.

Though the last six NCAA baseball champions have all come from the SEC, Oregon just beat one of the last seven:

2025 LSU (53-15)

2024 Tennessee (60-13)

2023 LSU (54-17)

2022 Ole Miss (42-23)

2021 Mississippi State (50-18)

2020 Canceled due to Covid-19

2019 Vanderbilt (59-12)

2018 Oregon State (55-12-1)

The times and TV schedule for the Super Regional round have just been announced by the NCAA:

Saturday -- 5 p.m. PT (ESPN)

Sunday -- 6 p.m. PT (ESPN)

Sunday -- If necessary TBD

For now, momentum is wearing a green and yellow jersey

The Ducks are riding a wave of emotion and gutty pitching performances into college baseball's Sweet 16. They swept the Eugene Regional in three straight, and before that they won three of four at the Big Ten Tournament and took two of three from USC in the final series of the regular season.

After the tense, emotional 4-1 win over Oregon State to cap their weekend sweep at PK Park, senior third baseman Drew Smith said, "Being a part of this place is really special. It's deeper than just family. I'm very happy I did decide to come here 'cause this has been the greatest four years of my life and I don't plan on it ending anytime soon."
