Baseball is back in Eugene as the Oregon Ducks look to kick off their season with a four-game series against the Toledo Rockets. Head coach Mark Wasikowski and the Ducks enter their eighth season together but their first season as a part of the Big Ten.

Last season, Oregon made a postseason run to the Super Regional round where they faced the College World Series-bound Texas A&M Aggies and lost in two games. This year, the Ducks look to improve upon the success as they enter their new conference.

Oregon finished the 2024 season with a 40-20 overall record. Many Ducks returned for their junior or senior seasons in hopes of taking their team deeper into the postseason – maybe even seeing a College World Series berth.

Players like senior first baseman Jacob Walsh and outfielder sophomore infielder Maddox Molony became stars for the Ducks during their 2024 postseason run and look to carry that momentum into the start of their 2025 season.

Oregon will be missing a couple of elite talents with the departures of pitcher Isaac Ayon as well as outfield (and football star) Bryce Boettcher to the next level. Boettcher is still a Duck, just not on the baseball team, as he maintained a year of eligibility and will return for Oregon's football team during the 2025 season.

The Ducks will throw out the first pitch of their season at 3:05 p.m. PT against the Toledo Rockets to start the four-game at-home series for Oregon.
