For Oregon, the story this season has been the big bats. The Ducks lead the Big Ten with 81 home runs, 21 of which have been blasted by leadoff hitter and outfielder Mason Neville. Jacob Walsh is the Ducks' career leader in circuit clouts; he has 14 this season.

Shortstop Maddox Molony is hitting .342 with 13 home runs. Designated hitter Dominic Hellman and left fielder/catcher Anson Arroz have 11 each.

The Ducks don't rely solely on the long ball. They're hitting a robust .297 as a team with 60 stolen bases.

In a three-game series sweep over the Beavers this weekend the pitching took an uptick. They won 4-2, 13-1 and 3-2 with 9 innings of relief in which they allowed a single earned run while striking out 10.

Timely hitting and good team defense has allowed the Ducks to build a 30-12 record, tied for third in the Big Ten at 14-7. Another win over the Beavers would boost their chances of hosting a Super Regional in the NCAA Tournament.
