His decision date is scheduled for Tuesday May 13, but a picture he posted Sunday morning all but declares No. 1 offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell is headed to Georgia.

The 6-8, 320 offensive tackle from Nixa, Missouri is the No. 1 recruit in the nation for 2026. He's deciding between the SEC Champion Bulldogs, Miami, Oregon and Ohio State.

Cantwell is on a visit to Athens this weekend and this morning he posted a picture from the patio of a swank dining hall in the Peach State, he and 5-star quarterback and recent Georgia commit Jared Curtis arm-in-arm and looking like best buddies.

The caption read, "JC x JC?"

Either it's the coyest tease in recruiting history since Eric Dickerson showed up to school in a gold Trans Am from the Aggies, or Cantwell has already made his decision.

Reports have Miami coming in with a NIL offer in excess of $2 million.

He made an official visit to Oregon April 26-27, and the Ducks made a compelling case. Cantwell told Greg Smith of Rivals:

“The amount of time and effort they poured into me and the attention to detail stood out,. They have a plan for me to develop and even to be a dual sport athlete at a high level too."

If a picture tells a thousand words, Cantwell's going to be helping the next great Georgia tailback rush for a thousand yards.
