Just days until the Oregon Ducks and Northwestern Wildcats kicked off their Big Ten season opener, the undefeated Ducks received quite a bit of praise from one college football analyst.
While Joel Klatt was talking about the matchup on his FOX college football show, The Joel Klatt Show, he talked about the dominance of Oregon's defense and the impressively rebuilt offensive line, which caters to the Ducks' lightning-quick offense.
"When I watch Oregon on film, I think I'm seeing the best team in the country," Klatt said. "They are built exactly right to win it all."
He went on to say that the Oregon O-Line might just be the best one in the nation and that quarterback Dante Moore is undeniably talented. Simply put, Klatt has a lot of belief and high expectations for the Ducks.
"I've watched every team on tape so far, and that's the best team I've seen on tape," Klatt concluded.
Last year, the long-time college football analyst shared similar sentiments as the Ducks stormed through their regular-season schedule and secured the Big Ten title. However, last season clearly didn't end with an Oregon National Championship.
However, many argued that this year, Oregon has yet to face a big-time opponent, despite defeating the Oklahoma State Cowboys, who are in a Power Conference, by nearly 60 points.

Even Montana State, Oregon's first opponent this season, is the defending runners-up in the FCS Championship game, losing by just three points to the North Dakota State Bisons. So, while the MSU Bobcats are "just" an FCS program, they are one of the best in the entire country.
The Ducks have flown through their first two matchups of the season, winning by a combined 112 points. In Week 3, when Oregon faces Northwestern on the road, that story shouldn't change.
What's unfortunate for the Ducks is that this year, they only have two scheduled opponents who are currently ranked, the No. 2 Penn State Nittany Lions and the No. 22 Indiana Hoosiers. So, there aren't many opportunities for Oregon to prove itself against powerhouse programs.
Yet, with rivals Oregon State and Washington on the schedule, the rest of the season will be far from a cakewalk, even though the Beavers and Huskies are nowhere near top-25 teams.
Oregon and Northwestern are scheduled to kick off on Saturday, Sept. 13, at 9 a.m. PT, from Martin Stadium in Evanston, IL. The conference matchup will be broadcast on FOX.
