Moments ago Jordan Seaton announced a decision to commit to Lane Kiffin at LSU, ending two weeks of speculation and intense bidding.

The 6-5, 330 offensive tackle was coveted by Miami, Texas, Mississippi State and the Ducks but in the end he chose the Tigers, their storied history and an NIL deal estimated to top $3 million. In his first year as the coach in Baton Rouge, the peripatetic Kiffin has brought in 40 transfers including top-rated portal quarterback Sam Leavitt, top-rated edge rusher Princewill Umanmielen and now the highest-rated tackle in Seaton.

The Ducks must pivot to the offensive linemen in their last three recruiting classes, which include Fox Crader, Trent Ferguson, Immanuel Iheanacho and Tommy Tofi, all four- and five-star recruits, some entering their third year in the program. Zac Stascausky, Douglas Utu and Demetri Manning will join the competition.

The Oregon offensive line has earned finalist honors for the Joe Moore Award in each of the last three seasons. The 2026 unit will be led by two reliable seniors, Center Iapani Laloulu and guard Dave Iuli.

Seaton would have been lucky to join them. In the last two cycles the Ducks and o-line coach A'lique Terry have sent Josh Conerly and Emmanuel Pregnon to the first round of the NFL draft.

In the last few days the Ducks have redoubled their efforts in high school offensive line recruiting, with visits around the country and a number of high-profile targets set to visit Eugene.
