The Oregon Ducks have had another player enter the transfer portal but this time it was one of their veteran players. On Monday, Dec. 16, junior defensive back Khamari Terrell announced that he had entered his name into the winter portal.
Terrell came to the Ducks straight out of high school and has played for Oregon over the past three seasons and despite using a redshirt this season, left his mark on the No. 1 football program.

In his freshman season, Terrell played in 10 games for the Ducks and collected seven total tackles throughout the year. He then played in nine games during his sophomore season but saw the field just once during the 2024 regular season as more and more of Dan Lanning's own recruits filtered into the system and Terrell consequently fell down the depth chart.
Throughout his career at Oregon, Terrell earned a total of just 14 tackles (4 solo and 10 assisted) and one pass deflection (in 2023).
Alongside Terrell in the transfer portal are redshirt freshman Tyler Turner as well as true freshmen Jaxson Jones and Jac'Qawn McRoy. The Ducks received their first transfer portal commitment from former Purdue Boilermaker and No. 1 safety Dillon Thieneman followed shortly by former Northwestern Wildcats cornerback committing to Lanning and the Ducks.
Star wideout Johntay Cook, who is currently with the Texas Longhorns, has expressed interest in transferring to Oregon as has Georgia's junior cornerback Julian Humphrey, amongst others.
The winter transfer portal officially opened on Monday, Dec. 9 and it will close on Saturday, Dec. 28. The spring transfer portal does not open until mid-April and is open for about two weeks.
