On Thursday, the NFL allowed teams to announce their schedules for the 2026-27 season which has become a major event in the offseason calendar. Few things showcase the craziness of football fans quite like waiting all day to see which week you'll play games that were already announced. Part of the day's event are the schedule release videos as social media has become more popular.

The NFL teams announce their schedules with creative videos, some of which are funny and creative, while others are more straightforward. Far and away, the Los Angeles Chargers have been the team everyone watches for more than anyone else, as their videos have been incredibly creative each offseason.

The Chargers schedule reveal shot at Bo Nix crossed a line

Oregon fans have grown to become Chargers fans in a way, with the fact that Justin Herbert is their starting quarterback. While most Oregon fans supported the Chargers for Hebert, now it's going to be a bit divided as they took a major shot at another Oregon Duck.

This year, the Los Angeles Chargers created their video to be themed around the video game series Halo.

If you watch until the Week 5 game announcement between the Chargers and the Broncos, the video is clearly showing Bo Nix's ankle being blown up.

The clip is clearly making fun of Bo Nix's broken right ankle that he suffered in the Playoffs against the Buffalo Bills. In the Week 18 announcement, they go into it further by showing Jarrett Stidham to "Finish the Fight".

Taking a shot at Bo Nix for struggles on the field, especially against the Chargers, would've been fair game, but to take a cheap shot at him over a season-ending injury is foul. The hope now will be that Bo Nix makes a full recovery and returns to form this season to hopefully make the Chargers regret poking the bear.
