In the first clip of his HUDL highlight tape, 6-5, 300 offensive tackle Lucas Rhoa lines up wide as a slot receiver to the right and goes in motion before the snap.
He levels the defensive end on the other side, just destroys him with one fluid, violent shove. For a 6-5, 300 tackle that's an impressive rep, even if the play broke down behind him.
Rhoa, a junior at Orange Lutheran High School in Orange, California, visits Oregon on Friday. He's a Top 50 tackle in the 2027 class, a product of the Trinity League. He goes against top defensive prospects like Marcus Fakatou and Kasi Currie every day in practice.
Rhoa visits Oregon on Friday along with Jackson, Mississippi offensive lineman Caden Moss. The Orange Lutheran junior has official visits scheduled to Penn State, UCLA and Texas, and recruiting sites say this is a battle between the Ducks and the Longhorns.
His tape shows versatility. Rhoa lines up at left tackle, guard and center. He has good mobility to the second level and agile feet, a healthy ability to crush people, good timing on his double-team blocks and moves to the downfield defender. USC, Georgia and Michigan offered scholarships.
Film don't lie, revealing a capable big guy who can move
Here's footage of him working in no pads at the UA Next Camp, a disadvantageous environment for offensive linemen, but he grapples doggedly and focuses on each rep, taking some coaching points with encouraging maturity. The footwork and technique are solid.
Orange Lutheran endured a tough year last year at 3-9. They play Serra, Mater Dei, St. John Bosco, and Servite, the traditional elites of Southern California football. Four of their losses were by a field goal or less.

Rhoa moves well and competes, and he's visibly matured a lot over the last 18 months. He runs the 40 in 5 flat, a decent time for his size. If his visit goes well, the Ducks should be able to keep him out of Texas, though the Longhorns face a rebuilding year on the offensive line.
