The next few weeks are going to be a busy period for Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks as college football reaches it's peak recruiting period. As official visit season kicks off, the Ducks will look to go on a run on the recruiting trail as Dan Lanning looks to continue the streak by signing another Top 5 class.

After losing Ai'King Hall to Miami on Sunday, the Oregon Ducks now hold the Nation's 10th ranked recruiting class. If the Ducks are going to start their surge up the recruiting rankings, it'll have to start during official visit season, and on Monday, Oregon got even more good news.

Elite LB recruit Toa Satele names Oregon among 4 finalists

On Monday, elite linebacker recruit and major Oregon target Toa Satele announced his final 4 schools with Oregon, Cal, Texas, and Notre Dame cracking the list.

According to Rivals' Industry Recruiting Rankings, Toa Satele is a 4-star recruit, ranked as the 68th ranked player in the country, the 4th ranked linebacker in the class, and the top ranked player out of Hawaii. All 3 of the major recruiting services list Toa Satele as a top 75 recruit as he's one of the premier talents in the class.

If Oregon is going to win out in this recruitment, they're going to need to beat out some major powers that are in contention. Former Oregon defensive coordinator and new Cal coach Tosh Lupoi may be the toughest battle for the Ducks staff as his staff has heavily recruited Satele.

The Ducks will have a chance to make a major impression on the Hawaii Native when he comes to campus for his official visit on June 19th. Oregon will have the advantage of having the final official visit of the 4 finalists which is always an advantage if the staff can capitalize.

The coaching staff has already started to piece together an exciting linebacker class which will likely continue to add pieces. Brandon Lockley Jr and Sam Ngata are both already committed, and would be a solid class if they were the only additions.

Over the next few months, Oregon will look to make a major surge and win recruitments for players like Toa Satele and Brayton Feister. The two linebackers have both been heavily recruited by Oregon and landing either would be great while adding both would be a major splash for this class.
