The Oregon Ducks head into the 2026 season with National Championship or bust expectations, coming off back-to-back trips to the College Football Playoff. Dan Lanning and his staff were able to get Dante Moore, Matayo Uiagalelei, and A'Mauri Washington all back for one more season instead of entering the NFL Draft.
While there are some holes to fill with other losses to the NFL Draft, Oregon has all the talent to go on a run to the National Championship. The absurdity of Oregon's high level talent alone would make it an absolute waste if this team didn't go on a deep run when the College Football Playoff arrives.
Oregon dominates 2027 NFL Draft Consensus Big Board
Now that the 2026 NFL Draft cycle is over, scouts are already turning their attention to the 2027 NFL Draft class. As analysts begin to reveal their own big boards and mock drafts, the consensus board is starting to get formed. In the top 100 prospects for the class, the Oregon Ducks have 9 players ranked, the most of any school.

On offense, Dante Moore checks in at #2 behind Arch Manning, Jamari Johnson is the top TE at #20, Iapani Loloulu ranks #53, and Dylan Raiola is still ranked in the top 100 at #72. A'Mauri Washington is Oregon's top ranked defender at #16 followed by Matayo Uiagalelei at #18, Koi Perich at #40, Bear Alexander at #73, and Teitum Tuioti at #77.
The elite high level talent Oregon has this season is absurd, and the consensus board rankings for the 2027 NFL Draft don't even do it justice. Players like Dakorien Moore, Brandon Finney Jr, Na'eem Offord, and other starters will all likely hear their names called early when their draft cycle rolls around.
While it's unfair to call a season a failure if you don't win the National Championship, Dan Lanning may not have a team this talented for awhile. The Ducks have the star quarterback with all the talent you could ever want surrounding him heading into 2026. If the Ducks can't get over the hump to win a National Championship this season, it could take years to reach this level of talent again.
The Ducks had a lot of things break right with Moore, Uiagalelei, and Washington all returning while the transfer additions have a chance to be special. When you have the roster pan out perfectly, you have to take advantage, and that will be pivotal for Oregon in 2026-27.
